Easter Bible Study: The Acts of the Apostles

The Acts of the Apostles

Easter Bible Study by Zoom
April 30 - May 28
Thursdays. 11am.

During the 50 days of Easter Season it is traditional for the Church to read the The Acts of the Apostles – the story of the birth of the Church! Written by Luke the Evangelist, Acts picks up where his Gospel leaves off, taking us on a historical and autobiographical journey through the heady days of the Church’s growth from Jerusalem to Samaria and to the ends of the earth.

Using New Testament and Biblical scholar Luke Timothy Johnson’s commentary as a field guide, we will explore some major themes of Acts over 5 sessions.
