St. John the Evangelist

St. John's is part of a vibrant, thriving area parish working to fulfill the mission that God has given us: to help people enter into true relationship with the Creator, to do justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with our God. We do this through our weekly services and through a wide range of other activities within our congregation, our parish, and in the wider community.

St. John’s is affectionately called “The Church in the Wildwood.” This title reflects the beauty of our church’s natural setting: next to the St. Lawrence River and surrounded on three sides by Glengarry Campground (St. Lawrence Parks Commission).

Are you new?

All visitors, newcomers, and seekers are welcome to attend worship services, participate in the ministries of our church, and belong to our community. When you visit St. John’s, you can expect to be welcomed with open hearts, to be loved for who you are, to be encouraged to share your gifts, and to share in our common worship through singing, prayers, the reading of Holy Scriptures, and the sharing in the fellowship of Holy Eucharist.
