The 2020 Lent Speakers Series gathers five distinguished guest speakers from five different contexts to help our parish reflect on some of the many areas of life in which we struggle and long for reconciliation.

Our speaker this week is The Rev. Carl Wake, the Coordinating Chaplain of the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre. With thirty years' experience at OCDC, Carl describes himself as somewhat of a “lifer” in the prison environment. He will explore how our ministry of reconciliation as ambassadors for Christ is vital to corrections and inmate reintegration.

Admission is free. A light supper is included.
Freewill donations will be accepted in support of the Christian Education programs of St. Lawrence Parish.
